This is the opener on Mistaken Identities and the Deliberately Absurd. Whistly harmonies piped through a high-pass filter widen to reveal a quick, plucky arpeggio that serves as the song's main melody. It is complemented by a synth bassline, a piano countermelody, and a solo violin phrase, building on top of each other in succession until the song fades out. Birds can be heard chirping in the background.
This song was composed right after my freshman year of college ended. During the semester, the evening walk back to my dorm from the dining hall was along a brick pathway oriented perfectly so that on clear nights, I could see the titular planet straight ahead.
